What is New at BMS! (note: the following information is new)
Attention 8th Grade Families: On Wednesday, December 14, 2022, we will be hosting a meeting for all 8th-grade families (parents/guardians) to discuss our annual end of the year 8th Grade Field Trip. At this meeting, our hope is to share with our families a few options and the cost implications of each one of those options. If your child would like to attend the end-of-year field trip, it is important for a family member to attend this very important meeting as we will be seeking feedback from families on a direction to pursue.
Art Postcard Fundraiser: Students in art classes have created beautiful "All About RI" postcards. Any monies raised will go toward sponsoring an artist to visit BMS! Postcards are only $10 for a pack of 8. They make great gifts! Checks may be made out to “BMS” and postcards will be delivered to your student or are available in the BMS office for purchase as well.
Love cool weather walking? Volunteer at BMS!: An adult with a current BCI is wanted to volunteer to lead a weekly winter walking club. Winter is a perfect time to get out in nature, meet some amazing students, and get some fresh air and exercise. The group would meet at 3:15pm at BMS and take a 30-55 minute walk along various routes throughout the area. Let us know what day of the week would work best for you! Email texeiraj@barringtonschools.org if you are available.
