What is New at BMS! (note: the following information is new)
RICAS/NGSA Results! We wanted to take this time to inform you that our RICAS/NGSA results are in! For what was probably one of the most difficult teaching years we experienced (balancing distance learning, contact tracing, and finding a “new normal”), BMS was able to achieve some amazing results! We were able to achieve these results by not necessarily focusing on the test, but rather focusing our attention on connecting with our students, and teaching and learning at a very high level! School Wide Data: ELA: 72.2>#/p### Math: 61.7>#/p### Science: 65.3>#/p### Over the next coming weeks/months, our teams will take a deep dive into the data and undoubtedly find opportunities for growth, but in the meantime, we should all be very proud of what we were able to accomplish. Great work BMS!

BMS “Shark Tank”: Volunteers are needed on November 30th from 10:10 am - 12:10pm to judge the "Shark Tank" style presentations from the BMS Entrepreneurship Class. The 8th grade Shark Tank preparations are well underway and students have been working hard to develop their business ideas. This year’s Shark Tank presentations will take place on November 30th in the BMS Student Union and we are in need of volunteer “Sharks”. As a Shark you will watch student presentations and use a rubric to provide feedback. No prior experience is required. Click here for more information!
Principal Luncheon: Join Dr. Anderson on Friday, November 18, 2022 at 12:00 pm for a principal luncheon. The goal of the luncheon is to connect with families, discuss BMS related topics, and to answer any questions families may have. No pre-registration necessary.

PLEASE NOTE: You need to be signed into your or your child's gmail account. If not, you will not be able to upload the photo.
CoffeePond Picture Day Follow-up: Picture packages are in and have been distributed by teachers. Picture retake day will be on Tuesday, November 29, 2022 if you'd like to have your student's picture redone (or if they were absent on September 28). Please send in your picture package with your student on that day if your student will be retaking their picture.
