Message from Dr. A: We are pleased to inform you that we will be bringing back Sports Nights to our learning community. Sports Nights have been a long-standing tradition at BMS. In fact, when I was a student here many moons ago I attended Sports Nights! Sports Nights are chaperoned by BMS faculty and staff and provide students with a fun evening filled with sports (basketball/badminton), board games, and dancing. Students are asked to provide $5.00 at the door and the money collected goes to our Student Council and the cluster that is hosting the event. This year we will be starting with an 8th Grade only event and a little later on in October a 6th/7th Grade only event. Please see more information below regarding these exciting opportunities.

Let’s Celebrate our Amazing Learning Community (note: below you will find our standing/weekly BMS Spotlight on Learning)
BMS Spotlight on Learning: This week, we would like to shine our BMS Spotlight on Brady White. Last week, our faith in students doing the right thing was brightened when Brady White stood up for someone who went through an awful moment. Brady did not laugh, make rude comments, or point fingers in jest. He was an upstanding student who acted immediately and selflessly to console another student. He picked the student up, literally and metaphorically, and took the student to the nurse's office; all the while, assuring the student that everything was going to be alright. This was a mature reaction in the face of a serious accident. We applaud Brady's reaction and the care that he demonstrated. Our hope is that all BMS students reflect on how we are connected and how we need to slow down and take control of our actions and reactions in order to be responsible, respectful and ready to excel at being kind to all of our BMS friends. Razz Teachers (Mrs. Bento, Mrs. Boyle, Mrs. Cabral & Ms. Ferry) This week, we would like to shine our BMS Spotlight on Mrs. Andreozzi. This past weekend, Mrs. A’s East Bay Rowing mixed masters boat won first place in the regatta in Boston! Great work Mrs. Andreozzi! Do you know of a BMS Faculty/Staff/Student member that is shining bright? If you do, please complete the form below and we can include the nomination in an upcoming newsletter.
