First Day of School Highlights:

Student Schedules: Over the past week, our team has been making adjustments to schedules. If your child does have a question about their schedule, we do ask that they wait until they are called to the school counselor’s office. It is also recommended that your child takes a look at their schedule tonight in Aspen to make sure they know where they are going in the morning. Students will be reporting to their first-period class on a “Day 1” (first column on the left).
Start and End Times
BMS will follow a staggered dismissal for walkers/bikers/car pickup schedule for the first two weeks of school and then we will reassess.
| ||||||||||
Student Drop Off/Pick Up Procedures for the First Day of School: Students can enter the building beginning at 8:20. Students can be dropped off on the side of the school (via the tennis court entrance) or off of Lincoln Ave at the rear of the building. Students can be picked up in the same areas. We recommend making a pick-up/dismissal plan with your child ahead of time.
Lunch Programs: Our 6th Grade Students will be eating lunch in their classrooms and our 7th/8th graders will be eating in the Student Union a cluster at a time. School lunches will continue to be provided to all interested students at no cost through Chartwells. Students who are engaged in distance learning, or who are isolated or quarantined, should reach out to their principal for instruction on picking up lunch, if interested. We request that all families who qualify or think that they may qualify for free or reduced lunch complete the linked form. Completion of the form allows us to support our students and our programs.
COVID-19 Protocols: Full COVID Protocols are available on the District website by clicking here. Please note that all staff, students, and visitors will be required to wear a mask in the building. All visitors will be required to show proof of vaccination, as well. Other links:
